This project has started from the 14th of April 2023, and officially completed on 30 November 2023.The entire process was followed by the schedule specifications. As of the 30th of November 2023, the achievement rate was up to 100%. This plan screened areas with heavy metal pollution, focused on the central five counties and cities, including Taichung City, Changhua County, Miaoli County, Yunlin County, and Chiayi City. And it compiled the characteristics of industries such as metal surface treatment, electroplating, leather manufacturing, and dyeing and finishing. Additionally, a survey was conducted through industry associations to investigate the types and functions of wastewater treatment automation facilities, resulting in the collection of 64 valid questionnaires. Through telephone interviews and scheduled visits, the willingness of businesses to install such facilities was investigated. Eleven companies expressed interest, and 10 of them completed the installation of smart technology equipment as well as the questionnaire survey. The constructed module functions include map display, reading display, historical data inquiry, numerical comparison, visual analysis, storage and download, remote adjustment of transmitters, and alarm setting for early warning. On 18 October 2023, a seminar on the promotion of smart management of wastewater treatment facilities was held, with a total of 41 participants.
